Friday 1st February 2008
Welcome to our new website.
We have come a long way since our first website was launched in June 2006. Back then, with five horses poking their heads out of the empty barn we had aims and ambitions and great anticipation of the season ahead. We reached the goals we had set ourselves of 20 horses by Christmas and 10 winners by the end of the season- and learnt a huge amount along the way!
At the start of this, our second season, we set new targets and we are now striving to reach them. As I write this we are well on our way to 30 horses in the yard and we have had 11 winners of the 20 we want to achieve.
You will find, when you look through the new site, that there are similar areas of information alongside new photographs, horses and staff. The website will be expanding all the time and I hope you will enjoy seeing it grow.
Here’s to the rest of the season!

Thursday 24th January 2008
Remember this day- our first double!
It has been a busy day in the office. As I write this Charlie is on the phone to one million owners congratulating them on the success of IWILLREMEMBERYOU and ABOUKIR BAY. ‘Will’ has been an absolute campaigner with Sean Quinlan riding a patient and confident race at Warwick. His loyal syndicate were thrilled when he battled to the line winning by a whisker.
Aboukir Bay has cemented himself as our first ever bumper winner by romping home at Fontwell. He will now be entered as a ‘wild card’ in the Brightwell Sales at Cheltenham and you will be able to view him from tomorrow (Friday). Well done team!
With two horses running at two racecourses our horse box was at a very different location. This morning Charlie and myself went ‘back to school’ and did our Transport Competency practical test followed by a multiple choice written paper. The test is part of new European legislation and covers horse transport across the board. Having decided that Charlie and myself were potential hazards in our risk assessments we await the results!
