Horses for Sale

1st November

1 November 2019

Tom and Gill left early this morning on their way up to Wetherby with Highway Girl and No Trumps. Both are going well at home.

We worked a few this morning: Jamboulet, Hillberry, Eclair On Line, Louse Talk, Lochinver, Forth Bridge, Present Endeavour, Jamacho, Nightfly and Fanfaronade. Leith Hill Lad, Jenkins, Tuff Times, Overworkdunderpaid, Snow Leopardess, Diger Daudaie, Inawhilecrocodile, Loose Chips, Miss Molinari and Hoot At Midnight did three canters.

Three runners tomorrow at Wetherby: Nightline returns to the racecourse after a season off due to injury, he won at Bangor last time out, which was his first win over fences, he jumps well and I look forward to seeing how he gets on. Just Don't Ask won over course and distance last season, he has little experience over fences as he never quite got his ground last season however definitely has ability. Old Jeroboam won his two bumpers in the spring and won on his hurdling debut last month, he is looking to maintain his unbeaten record. This looks a tougher ask with a penalty however he deserves to take his chance.

Three runners on Sunday at Huntingdon, two in the Novices' Hurdle which frustratingly did get divided. Do Wanna Know is making his hurdling debut after finishing second in his only point to point start. He jumps well and has been doing everything well at home and I look forward to seeing how he gets on, there is a 20% share available in him for sale. Robbie Dunne rides. Shah An Shah also runs, he finished fifth on his debut where he jumped the hurdles too big, he will have learnt plenty from that run and we have done plenty of schooling with him since that run at Kempton, Paul O'Brien rides.
