It is tragic the news that has filtered through this morning about the death of Campbell Gillies. Jockeys spend their lives living on the edge and then for something like this to happen while on holiday is just horrific. I did not know Campbell, but he was as good as riding as first jockey to Lucinda Russell. He had his first Cheltenham festival winner this year and he wouls have had an extremely successful career. No onme can prepare you for these tragic accidents and I am sure everyone's thoughts are with Campbell's family at the moment.

We are going to have our first runners tomorrow in the last 2 weeks. We run Oi Oi Savaloi, Polo Springs and Areyouwitmenow at Worcester. Areyouwitmenow needs a confidence boosting round and I will be telling Richard Johnson to ride him accordingly. Both Oi Oi and Polo should be very competitive. They seem to be going really well and I hope they can reproduce that form on the racecourse.......
