Hammersly Lake defended his win at Perth in 2017 with another impressive display off a 10lb higher mark this year. The fast pace of the race suited him and he ran on through to win well. The plan before was to go back to America for the American Grand National and this is still one of the plans open to him as we discuss other options for him for the upcoming season.
