Nightfly is our first winner of 2018/19 Season

It's always great to get the first winner of the new season on the board within the first couple of weeks!

Nightfly is our first winner of the 2018/19 season after sucess at Ludlow yesterday evening in The Pinckney's Gin Handicap Chase under. She has been a revelation since going chasing, running consistently all season. A strong run, two mile chase is perfect for and Johnny was delighted with her yesterday! She is a well bred and beautiful mare, by the late Midnight Legend out of a half sister to Alderburn.

Djarkevi ran well to finish 2nd in the 2m Novice Hurdle, the early steady pace did not help him settle however he will have learnt plenty for the race. Scented Lily was unlucky to take a heavy fall at the last hurdle when trying to challenge and Storm Goddess ran a brilliant race to finish fifth on her debut in the closing mares' Bumper.
