We enjoyed a fantastic couple of days at Southwell with a double on Sunday and then a second on Monday. Western Miller repeated his all the running win from Stratford at the beginning of the month with a similar ride by Aidan Coleman. This was Aidan's 1000th jump winner so Western Miller is Aidan's 1000th winner and 1000th jumps winner!
I was delighted with The Vollan's win, he had shown plenty of potential and I had bought him back into the yard only a month ago as I was convince he should win a couple this summer. He jumps for fun and I look forward to sending him over fences at some point.
Cardigan Bay ran a great race but was unlucky to bump into one who was better handicapped, she has won two hurdles at Southwell and clearly enjoys the course. I hope she will be back to winning ways shortly.
