Entries have gone in today, which means the National Hunt 10 day racing break is nearly over! Beyond The Clouds is entered on the flat on Friday at Nottingham. He is also entered at Perth on Saturday, along with Oscar Montel. Train Hill has two entries at Market Rasen, where George Bancroft also holds an entry.
Another batch of horses had their first canters today. All were actually very well behaved, and there were no mishaps. We had a new arrival on Friday, Ardbraccan from Richard Hannons. He is here to go juvenile hurdling, so we schooled him today. He showed a willing attitude and jumped well. Zestful Hope will return from pre-training today too.
It is a beautiful day here at Hull Farm, and we now look to prepare for another heatwave. All horses and staff coped very well last time, we just need to make sure we keep both horses and staff cool. There is sure to be a few ice lolly’s floating around too!
Now the horses are starting to get back on the gallops it gets a bit more exciting. So please do pop up and see your horse at work.
