Hello all! Another week of frost, rain and lots of racing abandonments! We were to head off to Catterick today with Punctuation and Miss Molinari, and that got abandoned this morning. Luckily the girls weren't too far into their journey and made it back in time for second lot! We therefore planned to run Punctuation at Huntingdon tomorrow, however earlier today that has a flood risk and has been abandoned! Hopefully his time will come soon! Options are limited though!

Carlow Farmer and Freethinker ran at Doncaster on Monday.Carlow pulled up, and was dissapointing, he looked flat out the whole way round. We will look into this. The aim with Freethinker was too get him settled, and he certainly looked a lot better this time out. He finished 11th, but there are lots of good points that we can take out of his run. Rivarros on Tuesday dissapointed, and he was almost too bad to be true. He finished very tired for a horse that only ran a mile and a half. We are also looking into this. Therefore, racing this week hasn't been great. But, at least we are racing, and at least we know there is improvement to come from all 3. They can't all be good all the time!

This weekend we have Saint Dalina declared in the Pertemps hurdle at Warwick on Saturday, Tom Buckley takes the ride. We do have entries at Kelso for Almazhar Garde and Stormy Milan, however I don't think I will run them as the ground will be too heavy.

Miss Molinari has an entry for Lingfield on Monday, however it is touch and go whether that will be on or not. She also holds an entry for Chepstow on Wednesday, and Raven Court has an entry for Newbury on Wednesday as well.

We had a busy day yesterday, Will Kennedy and Paul O'Brien were in. We schooled lots of horses, and all of them jumped well. Our Westerner youngster left the ground for the first time with Paul on board, it was nice to see him making great improvement. He is a real tough young horse, and looks to be a nice future prospect. He is for sale, so please do get in touch for more details.

We had two arrivals at Hull Farm today - Local Affair and High Yield. Local Affair has returned from her winter break and looks fantastic. High Yield is a lovely 4yo by Yeats owned by H.M The Queen.
