First and foremost, for those of you that were watching Zestful Hope in the Bumper at Market Rasen he is absolutely fine, he even got up and jumped a chase fence while running loose. Looks to be a chaser in the making! He was travelling nicely before suffering a nasty incident and slipped up on the turn in the closing stages with Gavin Sheehan on board. They both may be a bit sore, but Zesftul is happy out in the field today.

Dysania ran at Ffos Lass on Wednesday and put in a great round of jumping under David Noonan. He just galloped on the same pace the whole way round, and will improve for the run. However, it was a long journey home for Charlie whose car went into restricted mode and would only do 50mph the whole way!

Alghazaal and Largy Nights headed off to Lambourn this morning to do some schooling and have a canter up the back of the hill with Paul and Dylan. Since joining us, Alghazaal has really taken to jumping well, therefore we wanted to take him away and see how he schooled in a different setting. The answer is very well, and we couldn’t be more pleased with him. It will not be long before we get him out on the track. They then both cantered up the back of the hill afterwards for a bit of fitness work.

Teenage Dirtbag has been declared for Huntingdon on Saturday, Dylan Kitts takes the ride again. It was not soft enough for either Illegal Model or Saint Dalina to be declared. Dirtbag has been knocking on the door the past couple of runs, so it would be great if he could get his head in front. Guetapan Collonges and Tea For Free have been declared for Uttoxeter on Sunday, Will Kennedy and Paul O’Brien ride respectively.

It looks to be a busy start to next week with lots of entries. On Monday Moon King is entered at Kempton, with Freethinker, Teenage Dirtbag and Dysania all being entered at Ludlow. Maxi Jazz, who is now owned by The Charlie Longsdon Racing Club, has been entered for Sedgefield on Tuesday while Guetapan Collonges, Champagne Noir, Haas Boy, Stroll On By and If I Say have entries at Southwell. It will be the first meeting back at Southwell since undergoing all of their ground works. On Wednesday, If I Say, Raven Court, Carlow Farmer, Champagne Noir, Haas Boy and Stroll On By are entered. Finally, Freethinker, Maxi Jazz and Hoot At Midnight all hold entries for Lingfield on Thursday. As you can see, lots of the horses have duplicate entries, and therefore where they run will decide on the ground, and how the races cut up. Glen Forsa also holds an entry in the Ladbrokes Trophy and Snow Leopardess in the Becher Chase.

A busy time, with lots to look forwards to. Have a great weekend, and enjoy the racing.
