Another scorching day, by now we are slowly getting climatised to it, ready for the thunder storms this weekend! It has been a quiet week with no runners, however Train Hill and Oscar Montel head to Worcester tomorrow. Train Hill is making his debut over fences with Kielan Woods steering, and we are hoping for another consistent run from Oscar Montel as Brian Hughes takes the ride. As mentioned before, only a few shares left in this fun summer partnership, but still seven Stratford meetings left where you will have your own syndicate box. Beyond The Clouds then heads to Uttoxeter on Friday in the 2m Chase with Brian on board.

Due to all the horses coming back in, and it being a bit chaotic we have lacked chance to get many photos recently. Because of this, was a big photo haul this morning, but as we know Amber’s photography can be touch and go. However, there are a few nice photos amongst them!

Dave Regan, our dentist, has been in weekly to do all the horses coming back from their summer breaks. Along with Donnington Grove vets trotting up each horse so we have records of them from the start of their season. Tomorrow is weigh day, and for those of you that saw our social media post Illegal Model weighs 604kgs!

(I forgot to post the links below on Monday – blonde moment!!) Now I know I have probably mentioned previously, but Amber & Will are taking part in The Great Racing Welfare cycle. This is no mean feat. They have to cycle 500 miles in 5 days from Carlisle racecourse to Newton Abott, and it is less than a month away. I know the training has ramped up, but Amber still has never cycled further than 56 miles! The reason they are taking part is for the fantastic Racing Welfare charity, who are the back bone to any member of staff within the racing industry. They help anyone with any problem, no matter how big or small and it is fantastic that racing has a charity like this. Any donations to either Will or Amber will be greatly appreciated, and I am sure it will keep them pedalling a bit further. (Annoyling, admin error, Will and Amber have two different JustGiving pages, the links are below):

Enjoy the rest of the sunshine, it won’t be here forever.
