Horses for Sale

21st October 2020

21 October 2020

Dark one this morning again!!

We had Paul in this morning to school a few with Tom, they schooled out on the hurdles on the grass, and some schooled on the loop. They all went well.

As mentioned yesterday, we have a busy day tomorrow with 2 runners at Carlisle - Castle Robin & Local Affair - Sean Quinlan and Tom Buckley rides, 3 at Lingfield - Carlow Farmer, Guetapan Collonges and Bold Pimpernel, Paul O'Brien and Richie Mclernon ride and 1 at Ludlow - Peter's Portrait, Will Kennedy rides, as well as 3 horses at the sales - Jenkins, Overworkdunderpaid and Jamacho! Overworkdunderpaid also runs today under Kielan Woods. It was a challenge trying to get all the logistics sorted - but hopefully it is now! I have a great team behind me which always helps!

I have declared Storm Goddess and Western Miller for Cheltenham on Friday. Cheltenham & Aintree this weekend have some very strong races, and it will be interesting to see the outcomes and how many horses run making their seasonal debuts. Western Miller is off the lowest weight he has been for a while, so fingers crossed it makes the difference - Paul O'Brien rides. Brian Hughes rides Storm Goddess. It will be great to be back at the home of National Hunt racing.

I have entries for The Vollan, Vivas, Ballydine, and Do Wanna Know for the weekend. Liverpool is in Tier 3 I believe, so to my understanding owners cannot attend unfourtnatley. I also have entries for Train Hill, What About Time and Snow Leopardess for next Tuesday at Bangor and Chepstow - it will be interesting due to Wales being in a current lockdown. To my understanding owners cannot attend the welsh fixture, which is slightly annoying - but we must ensure we are keeping the country safe. Racing is still going ahead, and that is most important!

Have a good week.
