Oscar Montel got his head in front, like we all new he should! He ran a lovely race at Worcester under Brian Hughes to win easily by 8 lengths. All three of his English runs for us have been consistent, and we are delighted that he went and won in final style. There is still plenty of fun to be had with him this summer, and only a limited number of 5% shares left. Charlie has already pencilled in a hurdle at Stratford next week, that is depending on the entries, the handicapper and how he has come out of the race. He is fine this morning and is out in the field munching away on the grass in the sunshine. An extra fun day out for the syndicate at Stratford, not only their own box on the Stratford race days, but a runner there for them all too. Please do get in touch to join in the fun, we do not want you to miss out!

Train Hill ran a promising race at Worcester yesterday on his debut over fences, under Kielan Woods. He was dropped in, and you can hit some traffic problems around Worcester. They were still out the back coming round the sweeping home bend and had a lot of ground to make up. However, he stayed on very well up the home straight to finish a strong 5th. There is a race for him to win out very soon.

Today we head to Uttoxeter to watch Beyond The Clouds and Brian Hughes in the 2m Novices’ Chase. It is a stiff task again, but we are hoping for a strong run. It was a scorching hot day at Worcester yesterday, it always is a warm day out there in the summer, so the added heat wave was not ideal. However, they managed it very well and all the horses were cooled down in the correct manner. It is not as warm here at Hull Farm this morning, therefore I am hoping it will be a more bearable temperature at Uttoxeter. Not that I am complaining about the heat at all!!

Little Bruce has been declared for Uttoxeter on Sunday in the 3m2f Handicap Chase. Little Bruce has really grown a fan club at Hull Farm, and we know he will run his heart out no matter what.

Other than that, George Bancroft has two entries on the flat at Lingfield and Windsor on Monday, however we think we will wait an extra week with him. So, back to fitness work for the rest of the string, trotting on the round gallop. Enjoy the weekend everyone, and just for good measure Amber & Will’s JustGiving links are below!
