Horses for Sale

Across the card double!!

23 October 2020

Friday - again!

Thursday was one of the busiest days so far this season! It was nice to see ouur first two runners of the day get their head in front and get everyone in good spirits. Up at Carlisle we had Castle Robin in the 2m4f Novices' hurdle, Sean Quinlan gave him a great front running ride to win unchallenged. Delighted for the Bradley Partnership. Secondly, we had Peter's Portrait at Ludlow in the Handicap Chase for the Four Nags and a horse syndicate. Will Kennedy gave him a persistent ride, and he stayed on gamely at the end to win by 5 lengths.

We had 4 other runners on Thursday. Local Affair at Carlisle, who unfournatley struck into herself and pulled up. Carlow Farmer, Guetapan Collonges and Bold Pimpernel all ran at Ludlow. Carlow Farmer could have probably done with the ground being a bit softer, and Bold Pimpernel was slightly disappointing so we will go back to the drawing board and we will probably take the hood off him next time. Guetapan Collonges ran a respectable race.

Jamacho, Overworkdunderpaid and Jenkins all went to Doncaster - Jamacho came back home with us!

Today we have Storm Goddess and Western Miller at Cheltenham, and Vivas is their tomorrow in a strong handicap. Sunday we have Ballydine at Aintree in the veterans chase, which looks a strong race but it will be nice to see Ballydine back on the track.

I hope everyone has a great weekend.
