Another winner yesterday! Guetapan Collonges wins nicely at Huntingdon under a great ride from Will Kennedy. The step up in trip seemed to suit him. Delieghted for owner Mr J P McManus. That was our last runner of February, we have no runners over the weekend and then it is March on Monday! This year is flying by. It is so nice to have some good weather, and it is madness how quickly the ground dries out. It is another beautiful day here at Hull Farm and so nice to see the horses being able to be turned out.
We had two other runners yesterday - Diger Daudaie at Chepstow unfourtnatley bled, but that explains why he never ran on. It was a hot handicap hurdle. Raven Court will need a step up in trip in time, but he also didn't quite run through the line how we would have liked. We will look into this.
Three horses went to Lambourn this morning - Beyond The Clouds, Haas Boy and Tea For Free. They all did a great piece of work, and it was nice to get the two youngster out for an away day. They both look to be nice prospects. Storm Goddess went to do some swimming this morning to mix up the routine, and strengthen her up. She will go swimming a bit more this week.
So it was a busy day here at Hull Farm with various horses going out and about - just not to the races! Local Affair and Teenage Dirtbag are entered on Monday, then we have nothing entered until Thursday next week, where Thinque Tank is entered at Ludlow.
