Lyrical Genius sticks his neck out when it mattered to win by a short head on his hurdling debut at Doncaster under Sean Quinlan. A quote from the presenter 'he looked as green as his colours!' Yes, he travelled very green throughout the race, and it looked as though he was out paced between the second last and the last. However, he picked up when needed an battled nicely to the line. A lovely stamp of a horse, who will certainly improve from that performance and looks as though in time he will be a 3m chaser!
