RARE EDITION remains unbeaten under rules!

28 November 2022

Rare Edition put up another excellent performance to win comfortably at Doncaster under Gavin Sheehan. He cruised clear from his rivals, quickening easily and pulling away up the straight to win by a widening eight and half lengths. He now remains unbeaten under rules and is open to further improvement. He looks a smart prospect for Pay The Bill syndicate. It was a pleasing day at Doncaster on Saturday. Imperial Jade also made her racecourse debut. She ran a cracking race under Lilly Pinchin, looking very professional and galloped all the way to the line at the same pace to finish 3rd. She will certainly improve for the run.

On the Friday we had The Mighty Arc at Doncaster. He was making his seasonal debut and Kielan Woods was on board. He ran a creditable race and looked as though he could have been the winner before a mistake two out, where he was just short of room on the inside. However, he ran to a respectable 4th.

Friday also saw No No Tango and Everyonesgame head to Newbury. No No Tango was in an extremely hot contested Maiden Hurdle, where previous winners of this race have been the likes of Jonbon, My Drogo, Lostintranslation and Buveur D’Air. This year looks to be no different when Jet Powered soared to victory with ease, another smart Henderson horse. Ittack Blue, in second, also looks to be a smart horse. However, despite this, No No Tango held his ground to finish a pleasing 5th. He still runs a big keen but stayed on very well. Once he learns to settle there will be plenty more to come.  Everyonesgame also ran a creditable race to finish 5th. He just weakened on the run in and will now head for a wind op. Paul O’Brien rode both.

Ardbraccan has made the trip up to Catterick this morning. She makes her hurdles debut under Johnny Burke. However, we have just been informed they are inspecting due to fog, so we will see! Somekindofstar is declared at Southwell on Tuesday, Jack Quinlan rides. No runners Wednesday. George Bancroft is entered at Market Rasen on Thursday with The Wise Traveller in at Wincanton. No entries Friday, and then four meetings on Saturday. Snow Leopardess has been confirmed for the Becher chase this morning, and Gaelic Park has also been entered at Aintree. Well Dick is entered at Chepstow, Almazhar Garde at Sandown and Castle Robin at Wetherby. Éclair On Line, Potters Hedger and What About Time all hold an entry in the same race at Huntingdon on Sunday.

Have a good week everyone.
