Nightfly starts the week off well by getting her head in front at Stratford races. It is the first jumps meeting back for Stratford, and it was nice to get a winner on the card. Brian Hughes gave her a positive ride to chase down his jockey title! It was lovely to see owners, Peter and Dee Flory, at the racecourse. It has been a while since owners can attend, and it is great that lockdown has eased slightly to allow it. Many congratulations to them.
Lockdown easing means we can start to welcome owners back into Hull Farm, and continue our stable tours. We cannot wait, so please do get in touch to visit.
We had a quiet weekend with no runners, however Storm Goddess ran on Friday at Newbury. She got further than the second fence this time! She ran a lovely race to come second, and is all is forgiven about Cheltenham.
Tomorrow we have Bold Pimpernel and Teenage Dirtbag in the same race at Warwick, and on Wednesday we have Midnight Jewel at Southwell. It will be Midnight Jewel's first run for us. Wednesday is also the Tattersalls Newmarket sale, hopefuly we buy a few nice horses - get your orders in!
We have lots one entries on Thursday; Rivarros, Thinque Tank, Lisdoonvarna Lad and Carlow Farmer and Uttoxeter and Wetherby. No entries for Friday, but a few at Carlisle and Newton Abbot on Saturday; Thinque Tank, Western Miller, and Do Wanna Know.
We are looking forward to the heatwave this week, it is meant to be 20 degrees tomorrow and Wednesday. Summer is on its way.
