2014/2015 SEASON

Wow....... what an unbelievable season we have just had. To have had 78 (+1 on the flat) winners from just 387 runners operating at a winning strike rate of 20% and winning £499,000 in prize money was a great performance by the team here. We achieved our targets, but we want more!! Again we finished in the top 20 in the trainers championship, in the top 10 on numerical winners and our 20% strike rate was bettered by only two trainers in the top 20........ The highlights of last season were definitely the two Grade 2 winners. Killala Quay and Ely Brown provided us with a few great days at the racecourse and their wins at Sandown and Wetherby respectively was fantastic for the yard. Also the likes of Pendra, Battle Born, Our Kaempfer, Sergeant Mattie, Shantou Magic, Spirit of Shankly, No No Manolito and many other youngsters offered us a huge amount of excitement for the seasons to come.

We have now been at Hull Farm for five years and we have gone from strength to strength. We had 70 horses last season, but we are very ambitious and would love to have 80 this. In our time here we have had over 270 winners, but we want many more - our 78 winners last season needs to be 90 this and our £499k in prize money won needs to rise to well above the £500k barrier. We have a lot of youngsters at present which we are very excited about and that can only be good for the health of the yard.

We have an expanding team, who are extremely dedicated and ambitious. We pride ourselves on relaxed, happy, healthy horses and believe this is shown in the results. We have a fantastic set of owners, most of whom have been with us since the early stages of his career and they help to make Charlie Longsdon Racing a very close knit team.

If you would like to become part of Charlie Longsdon Racing, please get in contact, as we would love to see you and show off our new and exciting yard!!
