He took to the fences really well and was foot perfect at every fence, considering he went into the race having been off due to injury, lacking a prep run. He was well in himself and fortunately has come back fine and is now relaxing in the field. Tom pulled him up at the last and I have heard the jokes of Joe 'dropping out' but there is little to criticise and we can now look forward to next year when hopefully he will have a clear preparation for the race as we aim to return.
