It has been very frustrating, we have been sitting on the cold list since Monbeg Charmer won at Ludlow in the middle of November. It really makes you appriciate the winner and the atmosphere in the yard has changed completely, everyone is happy and relieved. Nightfly had always promised more at home than what she showed on the racecourse so it was great for the penny to drop and to get a win out of her. She had schooled well over fences before the race and jumped well throughout the race, appreciating the strong pace. Johnny gave her a great ride, increasing her confidence with every stride and there are more races to be won with her.
