After the sad death of Bentelimar, Treackle Tart provided a much need tonic to the yard, lifting everyone's spirits for the season ahead. Johnny gave her a confident and patient ride, waiting for the right moment to ask her to hit the front. She won well by 10 lengths, 12 months on from her last victory over hurdles. She should be able to pick up another Novice Chase under a penalty and will be one to look at the good Mare's Novice Chases' in the spring.
