It marked a first win for the new partnership with Jonathan Burke who was fresh from a win in Ireland earlier in the week. Western Miller was recording his 3rd win for the season having previously won two handicap hurdles. It was an impressive win and he looks to have an exciting future over the bigger obstacles and the plan is to find him another novice chase under a penalty.
