A busy declarations morning, we have runners at three meetings plus our Kelso runners are going overnight. The logistics of who is going where and organising transport is never straightforward however we were all organised by 10am.
Ballydine and Local Affair run at Aintree, Ballydine is making his seasonal debut in the Becher Chase, he runs over the national course for the first time, he jumps well and should take to the fences well. Leighton Aspell rides. Local Affair faces a tough race in the Listed Juvenile Hurdle, hopefully she will be placed and pick up a bit of valuable black type. Adrian Heskin rides.
Louse Talk runs at Chepstow with Tom Bellamy riding, he steps back in trip, however the galloping track will suit him. Lisdoonvarna Lad runs at Wetherby, he ran well at Chepstow last time out and he has been going well at home.
Just Your Type heads to Kelso to run in the Scottish Borders National, he ran well in the Eider Chase last season and now he has won we can look at the better chases. No Trumps joins him on his journey north as she bids for a hattrick with Tom. She has come out of her races well and looks to be a tough horse.
Overworkdunderpaid runs at Huntingdon, he jumps well but has been known to put in the occasional error, Paul rides hims.
