Summertime means sales time! It’s always an exciting feeling trying to unearth the next superstar, fingers crossed we might manage one or two! Charlie went off to Doncaster for the Goffs UK Spring store sale and came home with a lovely big 3yo horse by Linda's Lad out of Russie With Love. He really is very striking and has a good page, please get in touch if you would like further information as he is FOR SALE.
We have had a couple of Highs and Lows on the racing front. Harry The Norseman won really nicely at Uttoxeter, only to be disqualified for going the wrong side of a chase marker between the omitted fences down the home straight. Bradley Roberts who did the steering was mortified and picked up a 14 day suspension. Very frustrating for all connections, but these things happen, and mistakes are made. Onwards and Upwards!
Everyonesgame cheered us all up by winning impressively by 5 lengths at Warwick. This was his second Novice win under a penalty, given a great ride by Lilly Pinchin. Big congratulations to Malcolm and Marilyn Olden who were there to welcome him back into the winners enclosure.
We only have a couple of runners over the next 2 weeks, lets hope they are winners!
