With the rain continuing to fall, even our few Summer runners are struggling to get onto the racecourse. Harry the Norseman and The Wise Traveller have both been non runners in the past week and there has been no point in declaring Three Macks as the ground will never have suited her. It means our only runner in the past 10 days has been If I Say. She ran another cracking race to be second again. She jumped beautifully and just bumped into a nice improving sort of Emma Lavelle's. It's frustrating to keep on being second, but she will soon get her head in front.
Horses continue to return from the field with the breakers coming back from their holidays this week along with Maninsane, Well Dick and Imperial Jade.
Our next potential runner could be Moon King this weekend at Market Rasen or early next week on the flat. Then we will be off to the sales next Wednesday where sadly Three Macks and The WIse Traveller will be going. Hopefully we can find suitable replacements to fill their shoes...
