After an action packed few weeks, we have had a quieter week with not so many runners. However, we are delighted with the dry spell of weather that we’ve had here, and I know the horses have enjoyed having the sun of their backs too!
At the beginning of the week, we took another group of horses to Warwick Racecourse, several of our novices had their first go at jumping a fence in a racecourse setting. The horses jumped brilliantly and enjoyed their day out gaining plenty of confidence and experience before the winter racing returns.
Next week holds plenty of exciting entries, while it looks to be a busy week there is a brilliant atmosphere and buzz in the yard at the moment. We have Alien Storm and The Dark Edge declared for Plumpton on Sunday, following onto Monday where Harjo & Electric Jet are entered for Sedgefield. We are looking forward to seeing these 4 horses run as they are all returning from a break and have been working well at home.
Tuesday looks to be a busy day with entries at Fontwell and Warwick. Ideal De Romay, Maninsane, Zestful Hope and Miss Applejack are all entered for Fontwell while Castle Robin, I Am Gonna Be and Electric Jet all hold entries for Warwick.
From schooling young jumpers to prepping for next week’s races, the yard is ticking along nicely. We’re looking forward to the busy week ahead and hoping to make the most of the upcoming entries. Fingers crossed, the hard work we’ve been putting in will pay off with some strong results on the track.
