What a fantastic end to the week yesterday with 2 winners at Plumpton! Alien Storm won on chasing debut under a perfect ride from Paul O’Brien quickly followed by Lilly Pinchin and The Dark Edge putting in a brave and tough performance to strike a double on the day.
The best part about having a Sunday winner is beginning the new week with a happy and excited team for the season ahead. Today has been a miserable day of rain and our staff got soaked to the bone, massive credit to our wonderful team who put the work in rain or shine, we appreciate them so much!
Today Lilly Pinchin and David Bass rode out and schooled some of the horses who are entered at the end of the week. It’s great to have them both in on a schooling morning!
Tomorrow looks to be a busy day with 5 runners at Warwick and Fontwell. Ideal De Romay, Zestful Hope and Miss Applejack all head to Fontwell with the hope we can continue with our winning streak! Castle Robin heads to Warwick for his first run back following a break along with I Am Gonna Be who runs over hurdles.
All in all, the team is buzzing with excitement, racing is always a game of highs and lows but after a brilliant weekend, the mood is high and we’re looking forward to what lies ahead.
