We have our first runners in 10 days...!! As I predicted, with so much racing being off over the past week, it looks strong. Carlow Farmer is in a very 'hot looking' Novice hurdle, but having been off the road for 2 years, he needs the outing and if he were to finish in the top four I would be delighted. He is a big 'raw' horse who will be better next year over a fence, but did run a nice race first time at Exeter.
Shah an Shah runs in a Challenger series qualifier. Again it looks strong, but if he finishes in the first eight (I would be disappointed if he didn't) he qualifies for the £50,000 final on Easter Saturday. He has improved so much this season and i hope he will like the step up to 3m. Ultimately, he too will be a chaser next season.
