What a season he had! He was the very impressive winner of his first three hurdle starts, culminating in a brilliant win at Kempton on Boxing Day. He was then a good second in the Sidney Banks at Huntingdon which was disappointing at the time but on reflection he still ran well giving weight away to all the opposition. Stupidly I ran him at both Cheltenham and Aintree where the crowds just went to his head. He is still a very exciting horse for the future and Brian Hughes thinks we should now go chasing. I would love him to be featured at the table over the next few years.
