He is a lovely youngster who I bought form this years Goffs Arkle sale in Ireland. He is by the prolific sire Shantou who always give his offspring real athleticism. He is from a German family full of black type and he has now been broken in, ridden away and had a small holiday. He will be back in work shortly and see how we get on. He strikes me as a horse who will run in the new Year, but he will not be rushed.
