Can you believe we are in September already?!?! Well, it has certainly got colder that is for sure! How exciting, National Hunt racing is here!
We had a busy schooling morning this morning, Paul O'Brien was on the majority of the horses! He certainly earnt his keep this morning. Most of them jumped out on the loop this morning over the hurdles, it was so lovely to see them all jumping so well after their break. It was the first time out on the loop for a while, so it was great to see.
We have had two new horses arrive, Moon King and Guetapan Collonges. Moon King has arrived from Ralph Becketts to now go over obstacles. We gave him a little pop in the school this morning to see what he was capable of, and he impressed us. Guetapan Collonges is an unraced gelding from JP McManus, we look forward to getting going with them both.
One runner today at Uttoxter. Local Affair in the 3.50 Handicap Hurdle, Lilly Pinchin takes the ride as Katie O'Farrell is unfourtunatley out injured. Glimpse of Gala is declared for the mares bumper tomorrow at Southwell, she makes her debut on the track.
We have a few entries for the weekend, Dariya, Jamacho, Teenage Dirtbag and Barton Rose.
