It has been another exciting weekend here at the yard. Since we last caught up, we have had two very exciting young horses head out onto the racecourse and come home winners, which is always a lovely feeling!
First up was Nate of Spades, who got his first hurdle win under his belt at Wetherby under a great ride from Gavin Sheehan. Nate put in an impressive performance, particularly considering he is still learning his trade and has plenty to take in. He handled everything like a true professional, and we couldn't be happier with him, congratulations to owners Jim and Fitri Hay.
Yesterday, it was the turn of Contain Yourself, who made the long journey to Carlisle well worthwhile by winning his bumper! He is another lovely young horse who we are very excited about. Huge congratulations to all the Pay The Bill Syndicate!
We have also enjoyed some brilliant runs from the team, with Kaproyale putting in a fantastic run after 14 months away from the racecourse. It was great to see him back doing what he loves, and he really was a credit to himself – another performance to be very pleased with.
It is rewarding to see the horses enjoying their racing and with some lovely young horses coming through and plenty of promising runs along the way, we are looking forward to seeing what the coming weeks have in store.
A big thank you must go to our devoted team who keep the horses in great form at home and to the staff travelling them up and down the country, it wouldn’t be possible without them.
