Jamacho fires again! A super game performance from Jamacho at Uttoxeter under Paul O’Brien saw him win by six lengths. That makes is three wins from the last four starts. They went a very strong gallop, and he jumped superbly to keep up with the pace, before staying on strongly all the way to the line. He has been a brilliantly fun horse for his owners, Stratford Racing. He is a cheeky chap around the yard, and you cannot help but love him!
Oscar Montel also ran a creditable race at Uttoxeter under Paul yesterday. He ran respectably in a step up in grade to finish a strong 4th. He is a horse that always runs his race and is great to watch. Another fun horse for Stratford Racing & Rob Aplin. Let’s hope Caesar’s Palace follows the trend for Stratford Racing and provides lots of good days out for them! He makes his juvenile hurdling debut at Stratford today under Lilly Pinchin. Parramount also makes his hurdling debut, Aidan Coleman takes the ride. Finally, Jonjo O’Neill Jr rides George Bancroft in the handicap hurdle.
We then have three runners tomorrow at Huntingdon. Calidad ridden by Adrian Heskin, Moon King by Lilly Pinchin and Alghazaal with Brian Hughes steering. Entries at Worcester on Thursday include Tommy Cullen, No Word & Rare Edition. Rare Edition also has an entry at Warwick on Thursday, an extra fixture put on due to the abandonment of Exeter. It was also a shame to see Ludlow has had to abandon on Wednesday due to firm ground. There are bits of rain about, but it is not enough. Hector Javilex and Tea For Free are entered at Chepstow on Friday. The Chepstow meeting is always regarding as the unofficial start of the National Hunt season. Haas Boy, Rare Edition, Lyrical Genius and Gaelic Park are entered at Hexham on Saturday.
Snow Leopardess arrived back at Hull Farm yesterday evening. Jess could barely contain her excitement! It is good to have her back and gear up for the season ahead. It was a lovely sight watching Snow Leopardess and daughter, Red Panda, canter up the gallop together. Both Lilly and Paul were in to ride out this morning.
