Oscar Montel ran a good race at Worcester on Monday to finish 3rd, in a competitive race won be a well handicapped horse. He looks as though he will give us great fun for the rest of the summer season. Despite Charlie Longsdon Racing having no runners at Stratford this Sunday, the Stratford Racecourse syndicate will still enjoy a day out at Stratford in their own box, due to this being one of the benefits of joining the syndicate.
Jamacho heads off to Jersey tomorrow, we think we have just about managed to complete all the necessary paperwork. He will run on Friday in the 6.30pm Handicap Hurdle. Brian Hughes will ride him in, and fingers cross for a good result. This is a qualifying run for the Champion Hurdle in Jersey in August, if all goes to plan.
Other than that, there are no other runners for the rest of the week. We had the dentist this morning to have a look over the youngsters and those that have come in from the field, along with the vet to check them over. We plan to bring another 8 horses in on Monday, so the yard is slowly filling up again and getting busier.
