I hope you all had a good weekend - nice for it not to be raining! We had a great weekend with both Dariya and Jamacho winning at Stratford on Saturday, and both for owner Rob Aplin. Dariya was given a patient ride by our conditional Tom Buckley to win the Conditionals Handicap Hurdle comfortably by 20 lengths. A big well done must go to Vlad who rides Dariya out at home, he has only been riding for 6 months and is doing a great job! Dariya goes again tomorrow at Newton Abbot.
Jamacho - what a superstar - 4 from 4! He has had such a progressive season, and despite the constant rise in the handicaps he seems to always pull it out the bag and put his head in front. As always, Brian Hughes delivered him perfectly! Delighted, again, for Rob Aplin & The Stratford Racing club.
It was shame that out bumper horse, Teenage Dirtbag, never got to make his debut - he got kicked at the start therefore never ran. However, we can look forward to seeing him out again soon.
We have declared Storm Goddess and Montys Award for Uttoxeter on Wednesday. Storm Goddess is in great form, and we look forward to seeing her first run of the season. Monty has had a good season so far, lets see if we can keep it up.
