We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend. It certainly felt like spring has properly arrived, and we’ve all been making the most of the recent sunshine here at the yard.
The warmer weather has meant a welcome change for the horses, who are now enjoying some time out in the fields with no rugs! There’s been plenty of rolling, stretching, and generally enjoying life without rugs, which is always a lovely sight.
There’s a real buzz around the yard at the moment as we look ahead to the Aintree Festival. It’s one of the highlights of the National Hunt calendar, and we’re thrilled to have runners heading there this week. We have one runner on Thursday, Roxy Russet, and two on Friday, Bowmore and Swindon Village.
Alongside Aintree, we also have several entries over the weekend including Whatyouwaitingfor, Shan’t Wait, Glenmuick and Seamoon Story, so it’s set to be a busy and exciting few days for the team. The horses are in great form, and we’re looking forward to getting them out on the track.
As always, thank you for all your continued support – it means a great deal to everyone at the yard.
