What crazy weather! We had three runners declared at Doncaster yesterday but sadly the snow stopped play. Having been wet all morning it quickly turned to settling snow just before the first race whilst The Dark Edge and Ginger Jonny were walking round the paddock. After much deliberation the officials decided to abandon all racing at Doncaster, so we packed up and sent the horses home. Such a shame for all our owners who turned up to watch their horses run, but I hope they had a good lunch out!
Despite the lack of racing we still got some great photos of the horses in the snow! Thanks to Nigel Kirby.
