We have now trained a winner at every UK jumps track!! What an incredible acheivement, and I could not have done it without my fantastic team I have behind me. I look forward to many more winners!
Almazhar Garde made the long trip to Kelso worth it by winning the feature race of the day. Jess and Amber took him up on the Friday night, as it is too much to do in one day! I was a bit worried when I found out the two fences in the home straight had been omitted due to the sunlight. He doesn't have much turn of foot, and is not a flat horse so I thought it may catch him out. However, he battled on well to the line to win nicely. Once he got his head in front, his ears were pricked and he was bowling along nicely. It was lovely to watch.
Today we have 5 runners. 2 runners at Chepstow; Guetapan Collonges and The Mighty Arc, and 3 runners at Kempton; Champagne Noir, Storm Goddess and Nightfly.
On Friday we took Vivas to Cheltenham for some XC schooling, due to his entry in the cross country race on Friday! He looked to really enjoy it, and jumped fantastically. We are excited to see his cross country debut. There will be a video put on our social media of the schooling session shortly, as Paul had the GoPro on!
Tomorrow we have Jamacho and Nightline at Huntingdon and Rivarros at Lingfield, and then no runners on Wednesday. We have lots of entries for later on in the week and fingers crossed all of them run well.
