Horses for Sale

9th December 2019

9 December 2019

All the horses ran well this weekend without winning. Just Don't Ask ran a brilliant race at Exeter, finishing third under Aidan Coleman. Glencassley made a pleasing debut in a competitive bumper at Exeter, he was a little green turning in and he will have learnt alot for his run. Loose Chips struggled with the pace in the 3 mile Amateur Riders' Handicap Chase, however Zac didn't give up on him and as he jumped the pond fence, he started to pick up and flew up the Sandown hill to finish fourth!

Louse Talk ran a good race to finish third at Chepstow, he had done all the hard work out in front. Lisdoonvarna Lad travelled well at Wetherby in ground which could have benefitted from a shower of rain, Paul gave him a great ride and he will be in the winners enclosure before too long. Ballydine is fine after his fall at Aintree, he just in tight to the second fence. Local Affair ran a good race to finish 3rd in the Listed Juvenile Fillies' Hurdle, picking up some valuable black type. It was her first run since a wind operation and finised off her race well.

Just Your Type goes better, the further he goes and ran well at Kelso in the Scottish Borders National to finish second. He was giving the winner almost a stone in weight and had been badly hampered in the first circuit, being kicked in the nose.

Jet Set runs this afternoon at Musselburgh, Robbie Dunne rides, if she jumps round clear she should have a good chance off her hurdle form.

Happy 80th Birthday to Richard Perkins, the owner of Diger Daudaie!

Two runners tomorrow at Fontwell, Hoot At Midnight and Lochinver, Hoot is coming on with every run over hurdles whilst Lochinver ran well last time out at Huntingdon under Aidan and Paul is back in the saddle tomorrow.
