Today we must remember those remarkable men, women and equines who sacrificed everything for our today. Lest We Forget.
We are delieghted with Stratford Racecourse seasons statistics, not only were we the top trainer, we also had Jamacho as a course specialist! Jamacho won 3 of his 4 races there this summer, even more of a bonus as he is not only owned by Mr Rob Aplin, but also the Stratford Racing Club!
Yesterday, we had Rivarros, Nightline and Jamacho all run. Rivarros was at Lingfield, and he was really too keen in the first mile and half, leaving him with nothing left to finish the race. However, James Best was very complimentary of him and we will try a different approach next time to get him settled. Jamacho is too high in the handicap at the moment and is finding life difficult. Nightline was extremely unlucky and made a mistake at the last to unseat Paul. He looked to be the winner coming into the last. Although, Nightline certainly thinks he won the way he was galloping around the field, so as long as he is happy with himself we cannot be too disheartened. It is so nice to see him enjoying his racing still.
I have declared Castle Robin and Vivas for Cheltenham. I am trying to work the GoPro footage of when Vivas went schooling around Cheltenham cross country and will get it up on social media soon! I have also declared Shah An Shah and Thinque Tank for Southwell.
