Bradley Roberts still remains on a 100% strike rate, since turning conditional. This was after he gave If I Say a lovely ride around Worcester to win by 2 lengths. She jumped and travelled beautifully throughout, and it was good to see her finally get her head in front. Congratulations to her Owner and yard sponsor, Merribelle Stable. Well done to Georgia who rides her out everyday, and adores her!
We had three other runners at Worcester yesterday. First up was Train Hill, he was disappointing. He took a while to warm up to his fences, and then got into the race. Turning in he looked as if he could be the winner, or go close, however he then emptied out and did not stay to the line. Oscar Montel was back over hurdles and ran another consistent race to finish 3rd. The ground had softened up, and this would have not been in his favour. Soldat Forte ran in the bumper, and ran a nice race, just getting done on the line to finish 2nd by a neck. He should be winning his maiden hurdle soon.
George Bancroft takes to the track this evening at Uttoxeter under Jonjo O’Neill Jr. Ardbraccan and Alien Storm are entered on Sunday. No entries for next Monday, due to racing being abandoned in respect of Her Majesty’s funeral.
We have also rearranged our Syndicate Morning and Open Day for THIS Saturday, Saturday 17th September. The mornings schedule is as follows;
12pm – Public arrive
12:45pm – Parade of horses
1.30pm – Schooling demonstration
2pm – End of day
The schedule has been slightly reduced due to the change of date and circumstances. Look forward to seeing lots of you at Hull Farm on Saturday.
