A busy week of racing for Team Longsdon, and it is great to be back racing regularly. It was fantastic to see Glencassley stay on well to win at Wetherby yesterday under Brian Hughes. He ran a great race, however still looked very green out in the front, and will definitely improve for the run. We are delighted for owner Mr Grant Leon, and look forward to plenty of fun days out. Special thanks to Jess who does a super job of riding and looking after Glencassley every day.

On Tuesday Do Wanna Know and Maxi Jazz headed off to Huntingdon. Do Wanna Know was very fresh going down to the start but ran a pleasing race to finish 2nd under Paul O’Brien. His jumping has really improved after his intensive schooling at Marcus Foley’s. Maxi Jazz was disappointing, and never really travelled into the race. He may be retired now, and we know he is in high demand to make an ROR as he is gorgeous!

Today we have Stroll On By making his racecourse debut with Brian Hughes on board at Carlisle. He is owned by Old Gold Racing, and we look forward to him making a good start to his racing career. Tomorrow we have Midnight Jewel making the journey to Fakenham, we do not often have many runners at Fakenham as it is a very tight track. However, it should suit Midnight Jewel and he has regular rider Tom Buckley on board. Hopefully they can keep up their good record. We also have Supremely Lucky and Carlow Farmer at Uttoxeter. Carlow Farmer will be making his seasonal debut under Charlie Deutsch and Supremely Lucky will be ridden by Johnny Burke.

We also took four horses to Lambourn this morning, Snow Leopardess, Illegal Model, Scene Not Herd and Shah An Shah. They all benefitted from a good piece of work up the back of the hill. Scene Not Herd looked particularly impressive, coming back after an injury which has seen him off the track for nearly a year.

On Saturday we have six runners! Glimpse Of Gala and Maninsane both ridden by Paul O’Brien at Market Rasen. Paul rode out his claim yesterday at Wetherby and we could not be happier for him, a very underrated jockey. Beyond The Clouds and Due Reward also run at Market Rasen and Brian Hughes takes the ride on these. The two runners at Stratford are The Wise Traveller ridden by David Bass and Nightfly ridden by Aidan Coleman. It will be a busy day out at Stratford, as not only have we got two runners but also a box for the Stratford Racing syndicate.

Next week entries include Moon King at Exeter on Tuesday, Teenage Dirtbag on Fontwell on Wednesday as well as Tea For Free and The Wise Traveller at Worcester.
