What a change in weather today - it is a beautiful day and the temperature is above freezing! Oh, and it isn't raining! Hopefully we will get racing this week, and the weather is a bit kinder to the courses. We had no runners this weekend, Snow Leopardess was declared for Exeter however I declared her a non-runner in the morning. She has very fragile legs, and if the ground isn't perfect we were not to run.
We have no runners now until Wednesday. Catterick's card was transferred to Tuesday to give it more of a chance of going ahead due to it being covered in snow. I had Almazhar Garde, Snow Leopardess and Do Wanna Know all entered there, but did not declare, as it looks as althought it will probabaly go ahead the ground will be very tiring.
Carlow Farmer is declared for Hereford on Wednesday in a Novices' Chase where Will Kennedy rides. Guetapan Collonges is entered on Thursday at Fontwell, he was balloted out of Hereford Handicap Hurdle on Wednesday. There were a lot of declarations, and it looks as though that may be the case this next week. Due to so little racing recently, everyone is wanting to a get a run into their horses. I confirmed Just Your Type for the Grand National Trial at Haydock on Saturday, but he also has the option of Eider Chase on the 27th at Newcastle.
Lots of entries for this weekend, which include; Diger Daudaie, Saint Dalina, Shah An Shah, Punctuation, Illegal Model and Maninsane.
We also have some exciting news and are starting to use The Racing Manager, a communications system, to enhance our owners experience. We are excited to start using it.
