Horses for Sale

15th June 2022

15 June 2022

The dream of a Royal Ascot winner was not quite to be. However, a fantastic day out was had by all. The sun was shining, the crowds were buzzing, and the drinks were flowing. It was great to see a full crowd back after two years absence, the atmosphere was incredible.

Our flat racing has not been great these past few days. George Bancroft did not run much of a race at Nottingham on Monday either. He never looked to be travelling strong enough and did not quicken away with the field.

However, we turn back to the jumps and look forward to seeing High Yield make his hurdles debut and Train Hill return to the track after a wind op. Lilly Pinchin ride both at Uttoxeter.

All our breakers are progressing nicely. Gentleman Jacques, the Mount Nelson, and the Telescope X Madam Bijou were both having their first canter on the gallops this morning. Our new Jetaway X Palmito has been hacking around the yard and is taking everything in his stride. It is an exciting time seeing all the young horses in their early education, it keeps the dream alive for what could be! Hopefully out next superstar is among that bunch.

The Wise Traveller has returned from his holidays and looks fantastic. He will not begin fitness work, along with Soldat Forte. Hopefully we will see them out towards the start of September.

Entries on Sunday at Worcester include Hoot At Midnight, Due Reward and Jamacho. Train Hill also holds an entry at Southwell on Monday but goes to Uttoxeter today instead.

It is a scorching day here at Hull Farm. Finally, summer is looking to have appeared. Drink lots of water, and don’t get sunburnt!
