This past week has been an exciting one here at the yard!
We were thrilled to welcome so many of you to our National Racehorse Week Open Day, it was fantastic to see such a great turnout. The weather was on our side, and it was wonderful to be able to provide the public with the opportunity of a behind-the-scenes look at the hard work that goes into preparing our horses for the season, from meeting the horses to chatting with our team, the day was a huge success, and we are grateful for all the kind words and support we’ve received.
The energy from the open day has certainly carried into the week, we’re looking forward to seeing Washpool run over hurdles for the first time today in the 3:30 at Worcester. Tomorrow, we send Artemesia to Brighton for her 2nd run on the flat and we look forward to seeing how she has progressed from her last run.
It’s shaping up to be a busy and rewarding autumn, and we are excited to see what the coming weeks hold!
