19 February 2024
It is always great to be racing at Ascot, especially with some promising runners last weekend. The day didn’t quite play out as we had hoped with Rare Edition after his win at Kempton last time out, but onwards and upwards with him as we get to the bottom of it. On another note, we were pleased to have our first runner for new owner; Mark Dunphy. Do Your Job was thrown in the deep end and certainly didn’t disgrace himself! Lilly came back with a huge amount of positives from his run, but we have learnt that a slightly shorter trip suits him. We look forward to seeing the other Dunphy horses run in the next few weeks.
As we head into the later half of February the sun seems to be showing its’s face a little more which bodes well for the ground…we need it to dry up a bit! Let’s hope the rain holds off this week as we prepare to have a busy few days at the likes of Doncaster, Ludlow, Exeter, Warwick, etc.
Good luck everyone, it’s time to bring home a winner this month!
