It is scary how quickly this month is going! Only two more weeks and we will already be in February! I hope you all had a good weekend, it was a quiet one for us with only the one runner on Saturday. We only had 4 runners in total last week.
Saint Dalina ran an absolute stormer at Warwick in the Pertemps Handicap Hurdle to come 4th under Tom Buckley. We were delighted with her performance, she jumped fabulously and travelled brilliantly the whole way. However, my thoughts do go out to the Skelton and Hobbs team. It is never easy when you lose a horse at the races, no matter how long you have been in the game.
It looks another quiet week for us, with no runners today or tomorrow. The ground is not in our favour at the moment. Miss Molinari is declared at Chepstow on Wednesday with first time blinkers and Tom Buckley on board. On Thursday there are entries for Raven Court, Glass Of Bubbles, Punctuation and Stormy Milan. This weekend we have entries for Almazhar Garde, Diger Daudaie, Just Your Type and Freethinker.
Will Kennedy was in this morning and rode out 3 lots. He rode a nice young horse called No No Tango who we will look to take for an away day soon. Snow Leopardess returned home from her mini break. She has been back with her owner , Mrs O Fox-Pitt, who has been mixing up her routine with lots of flat work and jumping exercises. Jess rode her out this morning and she feels fabulous.
