Brian Hughes had made the long trek from The North to ride a couple out this morning including the new recriut Kapsize. He is a full brother to Hammersly Lake who arrived at the weekend from France. Fern was back from her holidays and there was an emotional reunion in the yard between her and Gill, followed by a morning of catching up on each others news!
There was plenty of trotting with the winter horses returning to work. Yesterday Paul was in and we schooled a few, having decided against Ffos Las today with Western Miller as I didn't think the track would suit him.
