We welcomed a lovely Getaway X Golden Firth 3yo from the Goffs UK Store Sale yesterday. ‘Fizz’ as she has already been named, was purchased by Rachel Jenner and Julie Green. She has been sent to us to be broken in before heading home for her holidays. Brogan sat on her this morning, with the help of Roche on the ground, and so far so good. We look forward to seeing her progress and are dreaming of a future star. So, currently we have a 3yo breaker and two 2yo’s in the yard at the moment, anyone would think we are starting a pre-training business!

Fergus Gregory was in to ride out this morning, along with Paul. They each rode one of the 2yo’s, Paul rode Imperial Jade who is by Harzand, and Fergus rode Queen Mandana, Snow Leopardesses half sister by Black Sam Bellamy. Jade looks like she could be a handful and has just learnt how to buck. Queen Mandana is proving to be sweet, which could be deceiving as Snow Leopardess is a real madam.

This evening we have Present Storm making her English debut at Southwell under Brian Hughes, and then on Friday we have Do Wanna Know declared at Worcester with Paul on board. Western Miller has two entries for Stratford at the weekend, however the ground is currently Good to Soft. Jamacho is entered at Ludlow on Monday, and an entry has just gone in for Calvario at Bangor and Southwell on Tuesday. Local Affair headed off to Lew House Stables for some schooling practice this morning, the plan is to send her over fences next time out. Finally, Charlie has headed off to the sales this morning so please get your orders in, we could do with a few more horses in the yard at the moment!
