After a few quiet weeks during the summer break, we are absolutely delighted that racing is now back underway. The buzz around the yard has lifted as we prepare to send out our first runner back tomorrow at Worcester, Almazhar Garde is running at 5.25pm. We have a couple more entries lined up over the weekend too with Ikigai Star entered to run on the flat again at Ffos Las on Friday and Stroll on By is entered to run at Cartmel on Saturday.
While our first runners return to action, work is beginning to build up with the winter horses at home. They are all going away nicely, stepping up their fitness and get ready for the season ahead.
This morning David Bass came in to school some horses, plenty of excitement in the air as the horses jumped nicely. Alien Storm was eye-catching, showing his usual zest of life and love of jumping. On The Go also impressed everyone today, he is very neat over his hurdles, he has grown plenty of the summer and is a big strong horse this year.
